The Windrow Vulc is a single wrapped vulcanized constructed shoe with single wrap foxing. It has a Foam Lite 2 molded EVA footbed and Geo-Hex tread pattern. Rubber heel wrap for support with 400NBS rubber outsole.
« In early 2021, my friend and roommate Henry Gartland took his own life. He was 21 years old. When etnies gave me the chance to work on two color ways, I wanted to use this opportunity to honor my friend, and at the same time bring awareness to mental health.
Henry’s official first name was « e », so that’s why it’s on the heel. He often had purple hair, so that explains the purple in both colorways. The golden eyelets represent the rings and chains he always wore.
A part of the proceeds will go to @thehenrygartlandfoundation/, they strive to advance research, safety, and education around the complexities of the human brain, specifically traumatic brain injuries. e forever! » – Jake Wooten
